Age shown as 54 in 1871census (2 April) & 70 in 1881 census (3 April) could mean he was born on 3 April 1811?

At the time of the 1881 census [RG11/1613/108] Emma was living in the household of Francis George Butler, Solicitor, at a private residence in Eaton Ford where she worked as Housemaid (Domestic). She was unmarried at that time.
